Finding Great Strapless Maternity Swimwear

Finding that right swimwear when you are pregnant is always a difficult choice. It’s even difficult to do when you aren’t pregnant. One choice that works well whether you are pregnant or not is the strapless bathing suit. Strapless swimsuits present a certain sort of elegance that is timeless and classic. It allows a woman to show off her shoulders and present a continuous line from the chin, down the neck, across the upper chest to the line of the suit fabric. It allows you to tan more easily which worries of halter or tank lines. The only drawback is that strapless maternity swimwear can be more difficult for busty women to wear as the support is not as halter or tank styles, but that should not deter you as they usually come with a support strap.

One suit that has been on the market for many years now is the Prego Strapless Min maternity swimwear. This one has long elegant lines with the top coming down low behind the bottom for extra coverage. A wide elastic band under the bust provides ample support to help keep you up. If you are a D or E cup then this would be a great choice. The suit comes in classic black or basic brown which helps to break up lines and shadows to make you seen small than you are. It is also available in a white polka dot. The bottoms are bikini style and come up high enough to prevent that feeling of them falling off.

Another classic strapless maternity swimwear is the Maternal America Jessie. This swimsuit is a dual purpose strapless as well as narrow strap tie halter. To wear as a strapless you just need to untie the halter strap and form into a decorative bow tie. The front material is made of a light weight mesh material that allows you to show off your belly. The bottoms are tie style which allows for more expansion as you progress into the term. A word of warning though, the top is more for the smaller girls so a C cup would probably be the largest you should try with this maternity swimwear.

Another very supportive strapless maternity bathing suit is the Prego V-Kini. This suit too can be worn with the strap tie up or with the strap down and tied in a bow. Just like the Prego Strapless Mini, this swimsuit has the wide elastic strap under the bust for great support. One of the nice features is the V-cut which allows you to show off your ever increasing pregnancy bust and cleavage! The bottoms are bikini style and come up high. The suit has two attractive Hawaiian floral patterns or is available as just plain black.

Last on the list of choices comes from Belabumbum and is their ring and halter bikini. Just like the previously written maternity swimwear, this suit too has the halter strap that can be worn up or down. However, the pink and brown braided strap loops through a ring in the center of the bust so it can be easily removed. The brown top has ample fabric around the belly to allow for your growing form. The bikini bottoms are pink with a brown trim to match the top. This maternity swimsuit will work good as a strapless up to about a C-D cup.

When you are in need of that maternity swimwear because your pre-pregnancy suits just don’t fit right (and you will reach a point where a maternity bathing suit is a necessity), consider trying a strapless maternity swimsuit. The style is very classical and will bring out the internal sexiness that you just never knew you had. Show off your shoulders and some more skin. Your husband or significant other will surely love your new look!
